This week we're discussing... episode 1x18 "Dramatis Personae"!
Episode synopsis: A Klingon survey ship returns from the Gamma Quadrant, its lone survivor mysteriously declaring "victory" before dying. Afterwards, Odo notices the senior officers behaving strangely, with two antagonistic factions forming aboard the station. It's up to him to solve the mystery behind the officers' behavior and the Klingon ship's destruction before the mutiny aboard DS9 erupts into violence.
What The Boys are up to in this episode: This is an Odo-centric episode. He's present in Ops when the Klingon ship shows up. He then has a conversation with Quark in his bar, fishing for information about the crew of the Klingon ship before their initial departure from DS9. The conversation ends when something mysterious happens to Odo, causing him to lose consciousness. Odo has a conversation with Bashir in the infirmary and later Kira in his office where he notices their odd behavior. Quark has a brief scene where he listens in on Kira and Dax's conversation and ends up being attacked by Kira for eavesdropping. He later goes to Odo's office to complain, and Odo again pumps him for information. Odo then has several worrying conversations with O'Brien, Sisko, and Kira where he realizes the situation is escalating before eventually enlisting Dr. Bashir's help in doing a scientific analysis, concocting a cure, and then playing the two sides off each other so that the cure can be administered.
