Various art recs from Doodle 4 Doodle exchange
I meant to post this earlier, but here are 19 recs for art drawn for ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
doodle4doodle this year (a doodle/art exchange) -- mostly fanart but with some original work as well. There were a HUGE number of both sign-ups and works for this event (at least using the similar event multifandomdoodle as a rough comparison), and lots of gems in the collection. I don't have time to rec everything I enjoyed, but here's my shortlist of recs!

The Complete Tales of Peter Rabbit and Friends by Beatrix Potter: Mr. Jeremy Fisher - Awesome pixel art!! Just so relaxing.
Critical Role: Exandria: Ashton/Fjord/Mollymauk - Hands! In pastels!
Final Fantasy X: Wakka & Lulu costume swap - Awesome pixel art!! (Also, a gift for me!)
Hollow Knight / Silksong:
Hornet and Hornet/Lace - Just some nice art!
Legend of Zelda:
- Breath of the Wild / Tears of the Kingdom: stamps of various flora and fauna - Cute and charming
- Link's Awakening: Face Shrine (landscape) - Neat architecture and flame colors
Original work:
Dragon - Pretty scales and textures.
Logging horse - Lovely inking.
Original elf characters gardening - Cute and pretty colors.
Mermaid - Lovely aquamarine/pink/black mermaid.
Weird cosmic angel - Awesome pixel art!! Creative angel design and great forest scene.
Sailor Moon: Fisheye/Hawk's Eye/Tiger's Eye - I like the color-coded lines on this one and the fun pose!
Sherlock Holmes:
A couple of ink and watercolor Holmes & Watson pieces - Quaint, and pretty watercolors.
Soulcalibur: Ivy Valentine - Cute and nice colors. (A gift for me!)
Spy x Family: Anya & Lor Forger - Awesome pixel art!! Peak twilight vibes.
Stargate Atlantis: (replicator) John Sheppard - Lovely photorealistic digital painting with dramatic lighting.
W.I.T.C.H.: Cornelia Hale - Pretty, sketchy watercolors.
And what I made for this exchange:
Soulcalibur: A Mi-na portrait, some Voldo and Yoshimitsu pen sketches, and a Mi-na mini-KiSS doll! Went all out on the Soulcalibur requests this year, haha.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Odo/Weyoun art.
