Challenge #9: In your own space, create a fanwork.

Well, kind of inspired by hamsterwoman's colorbars, I decided to make an icon set for the current challenge of lgbtrainbow.


In particular, the challenge was to make seven color icons, each featuring an LGBTQ+ character. I realized that I could fill a seven-icon set using all *different* characters from The Dragon Prince.

- Kazi (nonbinary)
- Amaya (wlw)
- Terry (trans)
- Runaan (mlm)
- Astrid (trans)
- Ethari (mlm)

I like that this show has a lot of casual LGBT representation without that fact ever being a big plot point.

Also, technically, I made some icons for fandomtrees after this challenge went up, so I can count those as well? Here's a roundup of what I made, although I'll probably collect these in an easier-to-browse icon post at my icon journal (when I have time...).

Yesss, lets bring back colorbars! :D Yours looks great, of course, and really like a spectrum, which is really neat!

Also, wow, I don't recognize almost any of these character names from Dragon Prince -- I guess they added a whole host of characters after s1...

And yeah, the show ends up having quite a big cast of supporting/recurring characters because they keep adding new ones each season.

If you think it counts, then it counts. Snowflake is a very low-pressure challenge. Great icons and I love the colorbar.
